Wind Farm Project, Warrnambool, Port Fairy area (must be local, commutable from Portland)

Responsibilities:

– Loading and Unloading Trucks:

  • Efficiently and safely load and unload trucks with various materials and goods.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of items to prevent damage.

– Stocktake of Consumables:

  • Conduct regular stocktake of consumable goods to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to reconcile any discrepancies and ensure adequate stock levels.

– Collections and Deliveries:

  • Coordinate the collection and delivery of materials and products to and from the site.
  • Ensure timely and secure transportation of goods to designated locations.

– General Yard Duties:

  • Perform general yard maintenance tasks to keep the area clean and organized.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling equipment and materials.

– Runabout Responsibilities:

  • Act as a versatile team member, assisting in various tasks as needed.
  • Provide support to different departments and personnel as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability and licence to operate telehandler, and preferably HR truck
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to handle a variety of tasks.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical fitness is essential as the role involves lifting and manual labor.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Flexible working hours may be required based on operational needs.
